THE WILD OX CIRCLE
For Better Mental Health
About
I have spent the majority of 20 years working in mental health, in large part because of my own mental health problems.

It's something I'm very passionate about.

The Wild Ox Circle is about creating a community of people with shared experiences coming together to support and nurture ourselves and each other with compassion, gratitude and support.

Since 2022 I've lived in North Tyneside, and I've grown to care about the place and people.
So I want to bring my knowledge, experience to where I live, my local community, to help people who are struggling with or without mental health problems.

The events below are the focal point of The Wild Ox Circle, and in addition on the app you can also join the Wild Ox Circle online group.
The Wild Ox Circle North Tyneside
When I moved to the area I didn't know anyone, and in honesty I'd never even visited this part of the country before. It was like a foreign land.

It took me a long time to start settling in; and making connections was a big part of that.
The impact of that initial isolation was devastating on my mental health, and I recognise that people who have lived here longer than me still experience that.

Having an online safe space to meet is good, but spending time together in person is far more natural.

I want to be able to set up an in person group with some funding, but I need your help.
Please take a moment to complete my survey and help me achieve this for you.
